Who am I?

You can call me Andrew, Andy, or whatever you’d like.

It doesn’t matter; I’m pretty easygoing. Anyway, I’m an Adventure Blogger, Photographer, and UI/UX Designer who’s always had a burning desire to get out there and explore.

welcome to my adventure blog

Not sure about you, but I start getting anxiety when I haven’t traveled anywhere in a while

This is where you can read some super-useful travel info, photography tutorials, and some health / wellness tips I’m learning along the way. Through these tips, you’ll be able to follow my travels around the US and beyond. I want to show you how to travel affordably, spend your money on experiences instead of things, and broaden your horizons…and how to take envy-inducing Instagram photos. That’s always a plus.

Around the World

Plot twist, I’ve only been on this plane once

From the Cubicle to the World

I used to work a 9-5 like just about everyone else. I focused on traveling as much as possible with the typical 2 weeks of vacation and really made the most out of weekend trips. That’s still feasible! If you prioritize saving money, traveling cheaply, and being creative with your schedule, you can travel all over the place while still holding a regular job.

That being said, leaving to travel the world has always been a dream of mine. If that’s something you’re interested in, you can do it too! I saved for two years and planned for a solid year before leaving on my current trip around the world. If it’s something you truly want to do, then follow along on my journey! I’ll have a bunch of tips, observations, and videos on my adventures abroad. Cheers to experiencing awesome traveling experiences together!

Travel With Me!

As I’m wandering around the globe, I’ll be focusing primarily on documenting my travels, talking about staying mentally healthy on the road, sharing travel tips I learn (probably the hard way), sending photos from my adventures, and more. Be sure to check back often for updates!

It’s really odd playing back these clips and editing them together almost a month later (I’M SORRY I KNOW I’M SLACKING). Knowing exactly what I was going through at the time, but having already figured out how to deal with certain emotional situations is a weird phenomenon.

That being said, I look book at going through the Bonane Heritage Park, Killarney National Park, and Gardens I Don’t Remember the Name Of with so much fondness. That was one of the truly happiest days I’ve had on this trip so far.

Stay tuned!

Thoughts After 3 Weeks of Solo Travel

It’s been a wild time in Ireland. I’ve learned how to drive manual in a trial by fire, drank with all manners of travelers until the wee hours of the morning, met a countless number of new friends, and grown exponentially more confident in myself.

Packing Minimally for Long-Term Travel

When it comes to traveling long-term, packing minimally is incredibly important. Besides the fact that it’ll make your life much simpler on the road, keeping a light backpack has multiple benefits. A light pack will keep your back relatively pain-free, as lugging around that extra camera gear will really wear you out. It will also save you a bit of money in checked baggage fees. The added benefit of that is security, your bag will never be out of your sight. Read on to find out more!
